The Tickle Bar Community Guidelines

Jobs, joy, and tingles — safely. These guidelines apply to every client and every Tickle Tech, and they exist to keep the experience professional, cozy, respectful, and intentionally non-sexual.

The short version

What matters most

Tickle Bar is built around comfort, boundaries, and calm. That means clear consent, respectful conduct, privacy, and zero tolerance for sexual behavior or anything that makes another person feel unsafe.

Professional, non-sexual service

Tickle Bar offers light touch, back tracing, scalp tracing, hair play, ASMR techniques, and other calming sensory experiences. Sexual requests, comments, gestures, exposure, inappropriate touching, or other sexual behavior are not permitted.

Respect goes both ways

Guests and Tickle Techs agree to treat one another with kindness, courtesy, and respect, including clear communication, punctuality, and no intimidation or harassment.

Consent is ongoing

Before beginning, the experience should be discussed clearly. Either person can change a boundary at any time, and if someone says stop, the answer is stop.

Safety comes first

If something feels unsafe or inappropriate, a Tickle Tech can end the appointment and leave without debate. No appointment is more important than anyone’s safety.

The Tickle Bar was created to bring great Tickle Techs together with people who love the relaxing sensory experience of light touch, tickling, hair play, and ASMR.

Our goal is simple: more jobs, more joy, and a whole lot more tingles.

Creating that experience requires everyone — clients and Tickle Techs alike — to feel safe, comfortable, and respected.

In-home appointments

  • Guests should provide a clean, safe, and reasonably comfortable environment.
  • Pets should be secured if requested by the Tickle Tech.
  • Anyone else present in the home must follow these same guidelines.
  • Guests may not be under the influence to a degree that creates an unsafe environment.

Privacy

  • Personal contact information, addresses, and other private information should be used only as necessary to provide or receive the service.
  • Photos or videos of another person may not be taken, posted, or shared without permission.
  • Information received through The Tickle Bar should never be used for unrelated purposes.

Children and minors

  • Appointments for anyone under 18 must be booked or authorized by a parent or legal guardian.
  • A parent or legal guardian must remain present for the appointment.
  • Tickle Techs should never communicate privately with a minor outside the presence or involvement of the parent or guardian.

Speak up

  • If something happens during a Tickle Bar experience that makes you feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or concerned, please tell us.
  • Reports of inappropriate behavior will be taken seriously and reviewed promptly.
  • Violations may result in cancellation, platform restrictions, or removal from The Tickle Bar community.

The Tickle Bar is a professional, non-sexual service

Let's be very clear: Tickle Bar provides professional sensory-wellness and relaxation experiences. Services may include light touch, back tracing, scalp tracing, hair play, ASMR techniques, and other relaxing sensory moments.

The Tickle Bar is not a sexual or erotic service. Sexual requests, comments, gestures, exposure, inappropriate touching, or other sexual behavior toward a Tickle Tech or client are not permitted.

A Tickle Tech may immediately end an appointment if a client crosses these boundaries.

Tickle Techs have permission to leave

If you are a Tickle Tech and something doesn't feel right, leave. You do not need to debate the client, finish the appointment, or worry about whether leaving will upset someone.

Get yourself somewhere safe and contact The Tickle Bar. We'll help handle the client communication and next steps.

No appointment is more important than your safety.

One simple rule

At the end of the day, it comes down to this: respect the person. Respect their boundaries. Respect the experience.

We're here to create jobs, joy, relaxation — and plenty of tingles — in a community where everyone can feel comfortable being part of it.
